Inspired by his mother from a young age, Mr. Levitt always wanted to become a lawyer. Subsequently obtaining an undergraduate degree in economics, magna cum laude, from Hofstra University, he graduated with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree from Hofstra University School of Law, where he was invited to join the International Real Property Investment Journal. Working full-time for a computer peripherals company throughout his undergraduate and legal studies, he was able to develop crucial business acumen which he has leveraged into the practice of law, where today he serves as the Founding Partner and head of the boutique business law firm Levitt LLP.

As a testament to his professional prowess, Mr. Levitt was previously chosen as one of three lawyers to represent a group of six high profile law firms after a landmark products liability lawsuit against the tobacco industry. In another matter, he defended a business unit of a Fortune 200 Company as co-lead counsel against potential $1 billion exposure arising from the modification of Boeing 747 aircraft, first succeeding in obtaining a unanimous jury verdict for the client, then in affirming the verdict on appeal, and finally, in defeating the plaintiff's application to have the case heard by the U.S. Supreme Court. Moreover, he has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine for 10 consecutive years. He has additionally been profiled in prestigious publications such as Forbes, The New York Times, The New York Law Journal, and Newsday, to name just a few. Mr. Levitt has attributed his many successes throughout the years to hard work, advice from strong mentors, and superior training and education.
Civically, Mr. Levitt continues to offer his expertise as a lecturer at the Hofstra University School of Law, and has contributed to several other community and educational committees, including the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Incorporated Village of Muttontown, and previously, the traffic and safety committee for the Village of East Hills.
