PETALUMA, CA, May 21, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Sandra Fernandez O'Hare with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. O'Hare celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Having accrued more than 40 years of expertise in the field of education, Ms. O'Hare has garnered a laudable reputation for her diversified career. Retiring in 2005 after 20 years at the Cinnabar Elementary School District in Petaluma, she also taught at several public schools throughout California and New York and taught courses at Chapman University, Santa Rosa Junior College, and Colegio Salesiano in Spain. Additionally, Ms. O'Hare found success as an adult education teacher and bilingual development specialist, and was aligned with the Spanish Speaking Center in Pennsylvania, as well as a local school in Guam. In retirement, she continues to work part time as a substitute teacher at Saint Vincent High School in Petaluma.

Utilizing her expertise, Ms. O'Hare was active on the mathematics curriculum committee for the Sonoma County Office of Education in Santa Rosa and as a member of the Summer Science Connections Institute at Sonoma State University in California, as well as the Sonoma County Math Project.
