Born in Vietnam, Dr. Ngo faced a great deal of hardship in her life before relocating to America. Upon immigrating to the United States, she learned English and worked hard to pay her way through school. Eventually, Dr. Ngo thrived as a mental health counselor for youth because she felt that she could parlay her personal experiences into helping others.

Moreover, Dr. Ngo found further success as a mental health case manager at Mckong Community Center in Santa Clara County. After becoming a victim of a horrific car crash that almost ended her life, she decided that she wanted to become a doctor. Today, Dr. Ngo excels as an instructor for, and the president and owner of, Kumon Woodland Center.

An expert in her field, Dr. Ngo notably obtained a Bachelor of Social Work from San Jose State University, a Master of Science in health administration from Saint Joseph's College and a Doctor of Medicine from Saint Matthew University. During her spare time, she contributes to those in need as a volunteer with The Father's House. For her outstanding work in the field, she received an Employee of the Year Award during her time as a mental health case manager, as well as a President's Award while enrolled in medical school where she was on the National Dean's List in 2003-2004 and the Chancellor's List in 2004-2005.
