Having accrued approximately 50 years of inimitable expertise in the field of corporate and tax law, Mr. Friedman has garnered a laudable reputation for his excellent work in mergers and acquisitions. Having come of age among a family of legal professions, he drew bountiful inspiration to continue the tradition and pursue his professional journey as a lawyer. He matriculated at Miami University, from which he attained a Bachelor of Arts in 1967 and earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1970 with honors from George Washington University. While attending George Washington University, Mr. Friedman served as the associate editor of the school's law review and contributed an article on capital gains taxation (basis increase at death) and he was awarded the honor of Order of the Coif.
From 1970 until 1971, Mr. Friedman excelled as a law clerk for the United States Court of Claims. He has been a partner with Friedman Dever and Merlin LLC since 2000.
Mr. Friedman served on the Board of Directors for Camp Twin Lakes for over 20 years. He has been the president of the North Atlanta Tax Council and remains active in several subcommittees of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia.
