Furthermore, Mr. Tanner completed more than 25 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. Having served in the Vietnam War, he retired from active military service as a colonel in 1982. After his endeavors in the U.S. military, Mr. Tanner further flourished in the role of director of operations for the Office of Personnel Management in the state of Oklahoma.
