Having accrued more than 30 years of inimitable experience in the field of aerospace technology, Mr. Hussain has garnered a laudable reputation as the chief executive officer and president of Windspeed Technologies LLC. Beginning his career in 1987, he honed his expertise in the field as a senior aircraft structural engineer for several companies, such as Boeing and Kawasaki. For nearly two decades, Mr. Hussain excelled in several contract and direct positions, including as a senior engineer, chief engineer and engineering manager, during which he gained considerable fluency in innumerable areas of aircraft structural engineering, including static, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses.
Originally hailing from Singapore, Mr. Hussain aspired to become a pilot since childhood. However, as he came of age, he realized he wanted to pursue the more technical aspects of aerospace engineering. Consequently, he received a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1986. A dedicated civic advocate, Mr. Hussain volunteers his time and resources to various initiatives, including the University of Texas at Arlington's scholarship program. With a plethora of knowledge at his disposal, he has obtained a number of patents over the years, including the Aircraft "SkyDeck" and "Bimi" – a virtual teleporter system.
Though his career has been suffused with highlights, Mr. Hussain is especially proud to have worked on several aircraft programs and models. To wit, he has contributed to the 787-8, 787-9, 777 VIP Interior Configuration, 747-100 Cargo-Combi Special Freighter Conversion, 747-8 Cargo and Passenger Aircraft, 737 BBJ, MD80 Cargo Conversion and the DC9 Engine Hush Kit. Looking toward the future, Mr. Hussain intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career on an international scale.
