Pearl Beamer Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Wildlife Rehabilitation

Mrs. Beamer established Sacred Friends Incorporated to provide free rehabilitation services for the local wildlife

Sacred Friends Inc. advocates for our coexistence with wildlife and aims to educate the community regarding wildlife conflicts so that humane solutions can be effected.

NORFOLK, VA, June 02, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pearl Beamer has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

While coming of age, Mrs. Beamer developed a deep interest in wildlife rehabilitation. After searching for an expert to help care for a small, injured animal she had rescued, she began working with them, maintaining the books, volunteering, and writing for the newsletter. She subsequently co-founded Sacred Friends Incorporated, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, with her husband, James Beamer Jr. Since the organization's inception, they have relied completely on donations to pay for the food, housing, veterinary services and medication needed to rehabilitate the local wildlife.

With a combined 75 years of wildlife rehabilitation, educational programming and management experience across the organization's staff, Sacred Friends Inc. advocates for our coexistence with wildlife and aims to educate the community regarding wildlife conflicts so that humane solutions can be effected. Native-American cultural consultants, Mr. and Mrs. Beamer also implement many of their ideals into their work with Sacred Friends Inc. Throughout her affiliation with the organization, she has assisted in a variety of projects, including tracking rehabilitated wildlife, establishing their website, rebuilding a flight cage and eagle rehabilitation and release. Prior to establishing Sacred Friends, Mrs. Beamer devoted herself to her country through the U.S. Navy Reserves and the U.S. Navy.

An expert in her field, Mrs. Beamer is one credit from her degree in environmental engineering from Tidewater Community College. Dedicated to her community, she gave back as an ombudsman in the U.S. Navy for 16 years, during which time she helped spouses communicate with commanding officers and additionally advocated for Navy families' rights. With a plethora of knowledge at their disposal, they co-sponsored "Sacred Friends Inc. Wildlife Conference: Care and Release." In the near future, Mrs. Beamer aims to buy land for a rehabilitation center. Additionally, they aspire to open a Native American restaurant and educational center.

"None of this is possible without her co-founder and husband, James A. Beamer Jr. Thank you sweetheart, with hearts combined, so are our dreams."
