Born to a family of politicians from Pakistan and India, Mr. Omar excels in a number of positions, including as a farmer with Mokal Farms, the executive director of Smart City, the co-chairman of Mokal Group and the co-founder of Mokal Precious Metals Mining. Throughout the length of his career, Mr. Omar has honed his expertise in the defense and space, oil and gas industries, the import and export of general trading commodities, real estate development and information technology, and marketing globalization and agriculture.
A student of Aitchison College, Mr. Omar earned a Bachelor of Arts in business innovation, entrepreneurship and supply chain management from the University of Guelph in 2007, and also studied business commerce at Humber College.
