An accomplished listee, Mr. Flint celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Flint is a talented local artist whose fantasy expressionism is best described as the emotional expression of personal fantasy. Relying on bright and bold colors as well as various types of techniques to create his one-of-a-kind pieces, he is renowned for his illustrations, paintings and sculptures. He has been featured in one-man shows and group shows throughout Arizona, and in numerous permanent collections at such locations as the Pima County Department of Transportation in Tucson, the Hardin County Historical Museum in his hometown of Kenton, Ohio, and the Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum in Bisbee, Arizona. He has also published several books, including "A Treatise on Fantasy-Expressionism from the School of the Ragged-Edge" in 2003. He later published "Works by Wolfschmidt" in 2013, a 258-page autobiographic book about his life that includes fictional short stories, pictures of his paintings, sketches, poems and sculptures, and "Willi Wolfschmidt's UNHINGED IMAGININGS" in 2014, a 136-page book that includes Henry & Beauty cartoon sketches, short stories, sketches, paintings and poems.

Additionally, Mr. Flint is a brilliant musician who played with Paul Baron's Harmonica Rascals both domestically and internationally between 1965 and 1985 and has also played with the Wild Ones in Tucson. Today, he volunteers his time as a harmonica soloist and comic at the Northwest Senior Center Tucson since 2003.

Born in Ohio, Mr. Flint originally worked in advertising and as a general boardman for Mithoff Advertising in El Paso, Texas. He then became a general illustrator for Salesvertising Advertising in Denver and a general boardman and consultant for the Burr-Brown Corporation in Tucson. Aligned with several industry-related organizations, Mr. Flint is currently a member of the International Society of Poets, the Maverick Artists and the Tucson Harmonica Club.

Mr. Flint studied at the Art Career School in New York City from 1957 to 1960 and at the Instituto Allende in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, during 1961. He also briefly studied with Jorge Martinez, assistant to the muralist Jose Clemente Orosco in Guadalajara, Mexico. Mr. Flint notably served in the U.S. Navy from 1954 to 1957 and then spent another two years in the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1979 to 1981.

In 1958, Mr. Flint received an Award of Merit from the Latham Foundation. He was also the recipient of a Letter of Commendation from the U.S. Department of the Navy in 1979.
