Drawing upon years of practiced experience in medicine, Dr. Bollinger serves as a doctor for Wellspring Family Medicine. Previously, she worked as a mathematics teacher for Teach for America from 2009 to 2011, a private home care certified nursing assistant and as an emergency room certified nursing assistant at Morehead Memorial Hospital during her college years. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Dr. Bollinger is affiliated with the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Christian Medical and Dental Association, and the American Medical Association.
An expert in her field, Dr. Bollinger earned a Bachelor of Science from North Carolina State University in 2009 and a Doctor of Medicine from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in 2015. Subsequently, she completed a residency at the Via Christi Family Medicine Residency in Wichita, KS. Dedicated to her community, she contributes to those in need through various church activities. In previous years, Dr. Bollinger has dedicated her time to the Come To Me Girls Retreat, Hope Lodge, Greenville Community Shelter Clinic, Eden Family YMCA, H.E.A.R.T. Smart Camp and Building Hope Community Life Center.
In recognition of her considerable expertise, Dr. Bollinger obtained the four-year Park scholarship from North Carolina State University in 2005, the Brody scholarship from the Brody School of Medicine in 2011, which is awarded to three students per year, and the NCAFP family medicine scholarship in 2012. She was additionally selected for inclusion into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, a program designed to recognize medical students and faculty for practicing patient-centered care, in 2014. Looking toward the future, Dr. Bollinger intends to experience the continued growth and success of her career and focus more on community health.
