Wayne Babler Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Law

Mr. Babler retired from Quarles & Brady after 40 years

    BOYNTON BEACH, FL, June 11, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Wayne Babler has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. After accruing 40 years of legal experience, Mr. Babler retired from his work as a partner with Quarles & Brady in 2009, where he began his career in private practice as an associate. During his career he was involved in numerous professional activities, including serving as a representative of the Chief Justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court in respect to compensation of the state judiciary, serving as President of the Milwaukee Bar Association, serving on the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Wisconsin, serving as the Wisconsin State Chair of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and serving in the American Bar Association House of Delegates for 12 years. Before his private practice he served in the Judge Advocate General Corps of the US Navy for three and half years of active duty and left active duty in 1971 with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. In a career filled with highlights, Mr. Babler is especially proud of his induction into the American College of Trial Lawyers in 1996.

Mr. Babler obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Wittenberg University in 1964 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Wisconsin School of Law in 1967. Upon graduating from law school, he was admitted to practice law in Wisconsin, and during his career he was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th, 9th and 10th Circuits, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and the Federal Circuit. He was also admitted to practice in several U.S. district courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, the Northern (Chicago) and Central Districts of Illinois and the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan; and he tried cases in these and other Federal District Courts around the United States.

Mr. Babler remains aware of changes in the field of law through his professional association with legal organizations throughout his career, including the Milwaukee Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Bar Foundation, the American Bar Association and the American College of Trial Lawyers. Devoted to his community, he has also contributed to the board of directors of the local Legal Aid Society, the United Performing Arts Fund and the University of Wisconsin Benchers Society. With a plethora of knowledge at his disposal, Mr. Babler has contributed to a variety of professional publications over the years, including "Business and Commercial Litigation in Federal Courts," "Persuasion In The Business Case," a lecture for Lorman Education Services, and "Refusals to Deal and Exclusive Distributorships," which was part of the ABA Antitrust Section Monograph Series.

For his outstanding work in the field, Mr. Babler was recognized as a fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation, the American Bar Foundation and the American College of Trial Lawyers. He was also honored in The Best Lawyers in America for his work in commercial litigation on many occasions and consistently presented with an AV-Rating through Martindale-Hubbell. Professional publications such as Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the Midwest, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in American Law have also lauded him for his legal accomplishments. Looking toward the future, Mr. Babler intends to enjoy his well-deserved retirement.
