Supported by more than 40 years of practiced excellence in law, Mr. Silverang currently serves as a partner with Silverang, Rosenzweig and Haltzman LLC, a role he has held since 2007. Formed in 2004, the firm is a transactional practice that specializes in real estate, serving real estate property owners and developers. In 2010, the firm added a commercial and real estate litigation practice to better serve its clientele. Earning distinction as an entrepreneur as well, Mr. Silverang is the founding partner of Silverang Development Company, which specializes in acquiring and developing real estate. He has personally developed more than $500 million of property and co-founded two multi-million dollar real estate equity funds.
Prior to his current roles, Mr. Silverang worked as the general counsel with O'Neill Properties Group in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, from 2004 to 2007 and as a managing partner of the Philadelphia office of Buchanan Ingersoll PC from 1997 to 2004. He previously served on the board of directors of Continental Bank in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, and Progress Bank in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. He currently serves on the board of directors of Radius Global Solutions, LLC, a Blue Bell, Pennsylvania based company. Civically engaged in his spare time, Mr. Silverang likewise has served on the board of Camp Sunshine, located in Casco, Maine, for several years.
Prior to embarking upon his professional journey, Mr. Silverang obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin and Marshall College in 1977, as well as a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Villanova University, graduating cum laude in 1980. He has been admitted to practice law before the Pennsylvania State Bar and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Mr. Silverang has maintained his professional affiliation with the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
A frequent lecturer on real estate at seminars sponsored by the Philadelphia Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Mr. Silverang has accrued many accolades over the course of his career. Named again to Super Lawyers in 2020, he has also been selected for inclusion in several editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the World. A native of Brooklyn, Mr. Silverang married his wife, Claudia, in 1981 and has one child, Leigh. Outside of his professional circles, he enjoys such diversions as cooking, rugby and bluegrass guitar.
