HAMBURG, NY, July 02, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- William A. Lorenz Jr., Esq., has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Having accrued several years of inimitable experience in the field of legal services, Mr. Lorenz has garnered a laudable reputation as an associate attorney with the law firm of HoganWillig, PLLC. He has also been an adjunct professor at Canisius College since 2016, where he teaches Mock Trial, a program he helped create while a student at Canisius in 2006.

Inspired by his desire to be of service to others, Mr. Lorenz has sought to change the world for the better through the medium of legal services. While studying in college, he joined the pre-law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International, and his interest in the field grew as a result. Mr. Lorenz received an All College Honors Bachelor of Arts in political science with a minor in classics from Canisius College in 2009, and a Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 2012.

Specializing in civil litigation, Mr. Lorenz assists in guiding clients through the litigation process and trials. Notably, Mr. Lorenz lobbied for the passing of the Child Victims Act in New York, which successfully passed in 2019. Mr. Lorenz then helped establish the Child Victims Act department at his firm, where he serves as Case Coordinator. In accounting for his standout success, Mr. Lorenz credits the work ethic that his parents instilled within him from a young age.

A dedicated community advocate, Mr. Lorenz donates his time and efforts outside the office under the unique persona of "Buffalo's Best Batman", a character he has been performing as since 2014, raising thousands of dollars for charity in the process. Mr. Lorenz published a memoir of the first five years of his charity work in 2019, and donated proceeds from the book to Mercy Flight Inc. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Lorenz volunteered in costume at various food banks and social distancing birthday parades, bringing joy and supplies to those in need. His service efforts earned him inclusion in WIVB's "Heroes 4 Buffalo" initiative and the Buffalo Bisons/Key Bank "Community All Star" award. Professionally, he maintains his affiliation with Phi Alpha Delta, the DiGamma Honor Society, Desmond Law Society, and the Erie County Bar Association. Looking toward the future, Mr. Lorenz aspires to continue helping his community through both his profession and charitable works.
