An expert in her field of professional engagement, Ms. MacLean earned a Bachelor of Arts in international studies, with an emphasis in global economic systems from the University of Wyoming in 1999. Subsequently, she studied international law and legal studies at Golden Gate University in 2004 and obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2005. Additionally, she is certified in healthcare compliance (CHC) and healthcare privacy compliance (CHPC) by the Compliance Certification Board (CCB). In order to remain well-informed of changes in the field, she remains affiliated with the American Health Lawyers Association and the Health Care Compliance Association. Ms. MacLean is a frequent educational presenter for associations and professional organizations throughout the country on health care and health care compliance topics, and Ms. MacLean has published a number of articles in national journals on topics related to health care operations and compliance.
Ms. MacLean is a student of the Work of Byron Katie and a member of the Institute for the Work and was also recently accepted as student into the InnerMBA (iMBA) certificate program for the 2020-21 scholastic year, a nine-month immersion program to train leaders on how to powerfully grow themselves and their companies. During her spare time, Ms. MacLean enjoys engaging in mindfulness training, participating in outdoor sporting activities, spending time with her husband and two children and supporting and volunteering for local non-profit organizations.
