With many years of practiced engineering experience to his credit, Mr. Baker serves as the founder and a senior engineering partner with NSTI. Since 1995, he has specialized in infrastructure, including virtualization engineering for POWER5 and POWER6 LPAR frames, clustering AIX on POWER architecture, and SAN fabric clustering and installations. Over the years, Mr. Baker has gained valuable expertise in various aspects of engineering and information technology, culminating in his current work in cloud infrastructure.
Prior to beginning his career in the field, Mr. Baker received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1989. He concluded his academic efforts with a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington in 1991. Mr. Baker remains aware of changes in the field via professional alignment with the IEEE.
During his spare time, Mr. Baker contributes to his community as a member of Saint Michael and All Angels in Dallas, Texas. For his outstanding work in the field, he was honored through the National Society of Black Engineers. In the near future, Mr. Baker intends to further his knowledge of cloud platform infrastructure.
