Craig Trively Enoch recently received the Larry York Mentor Award from the Austin Bar Association.

Enjoying a long and successful legal career for more than 45 years, Mr. Enoch co-founded the private practice of Enoch Kever PLLC in 2011. Providing legal expertise to businesses on various complex laws and regulations, he focuses his practice on appellate, business strategy and transactions, legislative advocacy and litigation, and additionally handles alternative dispute resolution procedures. Formerly serving as the firm's chairperson of the appellate practice group, he is also an active member of the litigation and government relations groups. In addition to his full-time commitments at the firm, Mr. Enoch has earned distinction as the president of Appellate Judges Education Institute from 2002 to 2020.

Mr. Enoch began his prominent career in 1975 as an associate attorney with Burford, Ryburn and Ford before advancing to become a partner with Moseley, Jones, Enoch and Martin. He subsequently served as a judge for the 101st District Court in Dallas between 1981 and 1987, was appointed as the appellate court chief justice for the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas until 1992 and distinguished himself as a justice for the Texas Supreme Court until 2003. Furthermore, Mr. Enoch worked with Winstead PC as the chairperson of the firm's appellate practice and as a member of its litigation and government relations sections.

As an expert in his field, Mr. Enoch has appeared as a guest commentator for several national television news programs. He has also contributed numerous scholarly articles to various peer reviewed journals. Moreover, Mr. Enoch was bestowed with an Award for Outstanding Lead Article by the Texas Tech Law Review of 2006 to 2007.

An alumnus of Southern Methodist University, Mr. Enoch received a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1972 and 1975, respectively. He later attained a Master of Laws at the University of Virginia in 1992. As well, Mr. Enoch served for eight years in the U.S. Air Force Reserve between 1973 and 1981. He has been admitted to practice law by the Texas Bar Association, the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Western Districts of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Seventh and Ninth Circuits and the Supreme Court of the United States and is board certified in civil trial law through the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Mr. Enoch is a fellow of the Austin and Dallas Bar Foundations, the Texas State Bar Foundation and the American Bar Foundation. He is also a highly respected member of the American Bar Association, where he once served as the chairperson of the executive board appellate conference judicial division. He is a former liaison to the State Bar of Texas and is an elected member of the American Law Institute. Moreover, Mr. Enoch is a member of the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society.

Among his many honors and awards, Mr. Enoch recently received the Larry York Mentor Award from the Austin Bar Association in 2020. He was previously bestowed with the Distinguished Alumni Award from Southern Methodist University (Law 1999 and University 2006), the J. Edward Finch Law Day Speech Award in 2001 and the Harold F. Kleinman Award from Texas Equal Access to Justice in 2000. Likewise, Mr. Enoch was notably named as an Outstanding Young Lawyer in Dallas and to the Best Lawyers in America, Texas Super Lawyers. He is also listed in Chambers USA.
