Among his civic interests, Mr. Eichberg was aligned as a young man as a director of the Anti-Defamation League. He has also been a director of the Lily of the Valley and a co-director of its LoVEfest fundraiser and a member of the board of directors of Cornerstone Ministry. He has also served on the Board of Directors of such international companies as Fastframe USA, Inc., California Closets and RBG Systems, Inc.
Practicing law in California since 1978, Mr. Eichberg enjoyed nearly two decades as the co-owner of the Law Offices of Eichberg & Feldman Inc. He was also a senior partner of Goldfarb, Sturman, Averbach and Eichberg. Among other roles, Mr. Eichberg co-founded, with Shelley MacEwen, Southern California Mediation Partners LLC in 2009. Mr. Eichberg and Ms. MacEwen have continued to mediate through today. Following his mantra as a peacemaker, Mr. Eichberg initially aspired to become a mediator to help people avoid litigation to maintain relationships whenever possible.
Mr. Eichberg received a Bachelor of Arts at California State University in Los Angeles in 1971, followed by a Doctor of Jurisprudence at Southwestern University School of Law in 1974. He has been admitted to practice law by the California Bar Association, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia., and the U.S. Federal Courts in California, and is a certified mediator. To remain aware of developments in the field, he is an active member of the American Bar Association. Cited in several legal publications in recognition of his success, Mr. Eichberg has notably been included in the American Law Society's Top Lawyer and the National Association of Distinguished Council's Top 1% of Lawyers every year since 2017 and this year was invited to become a member of Fellows American Bar Association. For his community contributions, he received both a Lifetime Achievement Award from Cornerstone Ministry and a Lifetime Award for Directing the LoVEFest from Lily of the Valley in 2011.
