Ever since she was a child, Ms. Coburn has fostered a love of reading and writing through poetry. As she grew older, she decided to pursue a career in writing and publishing. Since 1995, Ms. Coburn has excelled as the owner of Moonfeather Press, through which she has authored several works.

During her spare time, Ms. Coburn has contributed to her community as the secretary of the San Luis Obispo Gem and Mineral Society. She is additionally active as a troop leader for the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of the USA. Likewise, Ms. Coburn enjoys painting, meditation and gardening outside of her immediate responsibilities.
