At the age of nine, Ms. Jackson was shocked when her father suffered a heart attack and ended up in critical care in the coronary unit. Inspired by his struggles and the medical personnel she encountered along the way, she decided to pursue a career in nursing. For the past 30 years, Ms. Jackson has excelled as a registered nurse with the Covenant HealthCare System, with which she provides primary care for her patients.

Over the years, Ms. Jackson has also gained valuable expertise in the field with Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center and Davenport University. She remains aware of changes in the field through her professional alignment with the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. During her spare time, Ms. Jackson has also contributed to her community as a volunteer with the American Red Cross.

In pursuit of her aspirations, Ms. Jackson earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Saginaw Valley State University in 1999. She subsequently graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. Although her career has been filled with highlights, she is especially proud of being the first person in her family to obtain a college degree. Looking forward, Ms. Jackson intends to experience the continued growth and success of her career.
