In light of his indelible accomplishments, Dr. Robert Joseph Furey was featured in Who's Who in the Midwest and Who's Who in the World.

With more than three decades of professional experience to his credit, Dr. Furey has excelled as the director of the Saint Luke Consultation Center since 2017, the president of RJF Services Inc. since 2005 and the clinical director of Vianney Renewal Center since 2001. A leader in his field, he previously served as the director of numerous facilities, including the Lighthouse Institute in Maryville, Illinois, and Bridgeway Counseling Services in Saint Charles, Missouri. He also served as President of the Board of Directors of the Epilepsy Foundation of America - St. Louis Region. During an earlier stage of his career, Dr. Furey found success as an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis from 1988 to 1995, during which he worked as an assistant professor of counseling at Saint Louis University and a psychotherapist at the Child Center of Our Lady between 1987 and 1988.

Prior to embarking upon his professional journey, Dr. Furey pursued an education at Boston College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors in 1978. He continued his academic efforts at Saint Louis University, graduating with a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in 1980 and 1982, respectively. Notably, Dr. Furey is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Missouri.

With a plethora of knowledge at his disposal, Dr. Furey penned "The Art of Affirmation" in 2007, "You Are Good Enough: Overcoming Feelings of Inadequacy" in 2001, "The Road to You" in 1997 and "Called by Name" in 1996, among numerous other titles. Well-regarded in his field, he was presented with the Professional Service Award by the American Mental Health Counselors Association in 1984 and 1985 and the Ben Frohlichstein Award for Personal Achievement by the Epilepsy Foundation of the Saint Louis Region in 1997. In light of his indelible accomplishments, Dr. Furey was featured in Who's Who in the Midwest and Who's Who in the World.
