Mr. Taylor is an esteemed mechanical and electronics engineer

RAMONA, CA, August 13, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nicholas Taylor has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Taylor is a retired engineer celebrating a career spanning nearly 40 years of innovative electronic and mechanical design. Naturally curious and inclined to experiment, he was drawn to engineering principles at a young age, though his interest in a career in engineering would come much later. Sure of his abilities but less clear about his professional path, a young Mr. Taylor moved to California in 1955 at the suggestion of his brother-in-law, an engineer working on sonar technology.

Replete with opportunities to work in aerospace, automotive, and computer technologies in both the military and private sectors, Mr. Taylor quickly found his way into professional engineering. Much of his work in the 1970s focused on developments in vehicle safety and tracking technologies, including contributions to an automobile radar system. Mr. Taylor would later take his expertise to projects such as a helicopter stabilization system, and as technology evolved, he was able to contribute to designs that bridged the gap between electronics and mechanical engineering, culminating in his work for Cohu, an industry-leading camera manufacturer, from 2000 to 2012.

Mr. Taylor credits his professional success to his unique worldview and approach to project management. He also cites his innate ability to integrate diverse technologies into unified solutions as a cornerstone to his efficiency within his field. In his personal time, Mr. Taylor continues to study and create, and holds a patent for a device developed with one of his sons, John P. Taylor, an electronics engineer.
