Barbara O'Guinn Condron Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Dr. Condron has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the field of metaphysics

ST. LOUIS, MO, August 24, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Barbara O'Guinn Condron with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Dr. Condron celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A visionary, academic administrator, writer, editor, web designer, filmmaker, composer, artist, and mother, Barbara O'Guinn Condron is a true Renaissance woman. This award comes at a transition time. While others her age are enjoying retirement, Dr. Condron is merging lifelong research into Strategic Intuition with her skills as a journalist and author. This year, she launches a new weekly youtube series called DreamSync inviting a guest to answer three questions about Birth, Death, and the Afterlife. Her "Life. Worth Examining" blog debuts at https://www.masterliving.org/.

While a journalism student at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Barbara studied psychology and sociology seeking insight into human intelligence and behavior. After graduating in 1973, she entered a period which she describes as a "daymare", a condition cognitive acceleration many people experience and do not have the tools to understand. Severe depression produced a deep compassion for those facing their own mortality and resulted in one of her first books, What Will I Do Tomorrow? Probing Depression.

Two months later, Barbara's life changed direction when she began studying at the School of Metaphysics, a 501(c)3 educational institute established in 1973 as a place where people of all backgrounds can study, learn, teach and research the ways to live in harmony with the universal laws that govern reality. There she developed proficiency in mindfulness practices of concentration, meditation, and visualization, combining ancient Eastern practices with the budding Western neuroscience. She participated in intuitive research in quantum physics and holographic viewing spanning six continents. After earning all the certificates offered there, Dr. Condron became the organization's first female president in 1980 at the age of 26. She held regional, national, and international teaching positions from 1975 until 2015 when her father's health began its decline.

Dr. Condron's exploration of why we dream began with a nightmare at age 6 that spawned a lifetime of global research into multidimensional consciousness. The Dreamer's Dictionary author founded dreamschool.org in 1997, to reach dreamers worldwide. As architect and principle writer of the Dreamschool Scholar Program and while project director for Global Lucid Dreaming Experiments from 2008-2018, Barbara interpreted over 25,000 dreams for people in 36 countries. The ten experiments are documented in a number of articles and two books. Widely sought after as an authority on dreams, Barbara presented GLiDE findings on a comparative study of U.S. dreamers and worldwide dreamers during the annual conference of the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) in 2009, 2013, and 2018.

In 2016, her research paper called "The Peace Freq: How Lucid Dreaming may be a Key to a More Peaceful World" was presented at the IASD's Psiberdreaming conference. As a lecturer in her field, Dr. Condron spoke at the 2009 Parliament of the World's Religions in Melbourne, Australia, where she described the Interfaith vision on a women's panel on "Multi-Faith View on Peace" and addressed the three spiritual practices common to all faiths, titled "The Crown Jewels of Consciousness."

Dr. Condron has worked extensively in the cause of peace, both as a mindfulness practice and between people. Shortly after the birth of her son in 1995, Dr. Condron initiated the Universal Hour of Peace by calling upon leaders in government, education, and business to proclaim September 25, 1995, at noon GMT an hour of peaceful thought and action. This coincided with the 50th anniversary of the U.N. The event moved to December 31st as a mindful way to welcome the new year. It continues to be observed by people around the world.

In 2001, Dr. Condron received permission from the Nobel Foundation to quote Nobel Peace Prize laureates' speeches in a play she created called "The INVITATION". This unique play spans 50 years in the development of peace thinking through eight Peace Prize laureates. It offers stunning lessons in history, social activism, compassion, and respect for life. In 2003, Dr. Condron served as the International Coordinator for the dedication of the world's Peace Dome on the campus of the College of Metaphysics. People on every continent, including Antarctica, joined as ONE VOICE, in reading the Universal Peace Covenant. The history of the Peace Dome, the covenant, and present initiatives can be found on the internet at www.peacedome.org, a website she originally designed.

When her father moved through his final years of life with Lewy Body Dementia, Dr. Condron's years of mindfulness practice and research collapsed into what the Buddhists call clear light. Her own near-death experiences allowed her to witness seven transcendental states as her father's spirit released his body. DEMENTIA's PROMISE – a Dream Therapist's Journey Beyond Death into Destiny is due for a Christmas release. A prolific author of over 20 books, Dr. Condron began writing in the 1970s wit the publication of her first book, "Charisma: The Art of Communication". She has since published over 20 more books, including "Kundalini Rising" (1992), "Spiritual Renaissance" (1997), "Master Living: 10 Essential Life Skills for Health, Prosperity, Success & Peace of Mind" (2005), "The Taraka Yoga of Kuan Yin" (2012) and "How Intuitive Are You?" (2018). Her title on conscious parenting, "How to Raise an Indigo Child" (2002) is printed in five languages.

Since 1977, Dr. Condron's ease in communicating has led her to connect people through all forms of media. She is comfortable on both sides of the camera. She has been interviewed in newspapers (USAToday, Japan's Asahi Shimbun, Huffington Post), written for BYOU Magazine and Children of the New Earth, and served as editor-in-chief for Thresholds Journal (1990-2001) and editor of the "Wholistic Health and Healing Guide" (1992-2000). Dr. Condron has guested on BBC Radio, Armed Forces Radio, and PBS Latenight. She has produced and directed several films, including "Ten Powers of Dreaming," which is shown during her POWERS of TEN seminar.

Dr. Condron attained a Bachelor of Journalism at the University of Missouri in 1973. She then attended the College of Metaphysics, where she received a Master of Divinity in 1977 and a Doctor in Metaphysics in 1979. Dr. Condron is a certified psi counselor, quantum biofeedback and bioresonance specialist, a Spiritual Health Coach, and is an ordained minister through the Interfaith Community of Metaphysics. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the IASD, the Natural Therapies Association, the International Platform Association, the Kundalini Research Network and the American Business Women's Association. A celebrated Marquis listee, Dr. Condron has been featured in close to 70 editions of Who's Who, including Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education and Who's Who in Science and Engineering.
