Frederick C. Kniesler Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

    ALLENTOWN, NJ, August 26, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Frederick C. Kniesler with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Kniesler celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. Having enjoyed his retirement for more than 20 years, Mr. Kniesler distinguished himself over a long and successful career as an official in the state of New Jersey for nearly four decades. Throughout the late 1950s, he served as the township clerk and treasurer for Upper Freehold Township and subsequently secured positions with Manasquan Regional Sewerage Authority as a project coordinator, secretary and treasurer. Moreover, in 1977 he was hired by the County as a clerk of the Board of Chosen Freeholders, after which he became a deputy county clerk. Ultimately, Mr. Kniesler acquired the role of a deputy commissioner for the New Jersey Department of Labor, where he later retired in 1997.

Among his other noteworthy positions, Mr. Kniesler enjoyed serving on numerous New Jersey Department of Labor committees, such as the evaluation committee of the Mail Claims Pilot Program and as a member of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority . He also provided his expertise as a New Jersey representative at the 2001 annual Mid Atlantic Regional Conference on behalf of the National Recreation and Park Association and as a commissioner for the Monmouth County Board of Parks and Recreation from 1991 to 2010. Additionally, Mr. Kniesler maintained his own consulting business, Fred Kniesler and Associates, and earned distinction as the owner of Dusty Pages Book Shop.

Mr. Kniesler enjoyed various other civic roles as well. Among them, he was a county chairperson of the Republican Party for Monmouth County for five years, was mayor of his town for five years and served as a member of the Electoral College during 1984. Most notably, he served to the rank of a sergeant in the U.S. Army on active duty between 1948 and 1949 and in the U.S. Reserves between 1949 and 1961. An alumnus of Rider University in New Jersey, Mr. Kniesler received an Associate of Arts, a Bachelor of Science, and a Master of Arts in 1970, 1973 and 1980, respectively. He is a licensed public accountant and a certified municipal financial officer in the state of New Jersey.

To support his career, Mr. Kniesler has been a member of several prominent organizations, including the American Society of Professional Administrators and as secretary of the International Association of Employees in Employment Security. He is also a past president of the National Association of Government Labor Officials and a charter member of the New Jersey Conference of Mayors. Furthermore, he has maintained his affiliation with the Association of the U.S. Army, the Knights of Columbus and the honorable society of Alpha Sigma Lambda. Acknowledged with a President's Distinguished Service Award by the New Jersey State League of Municipalities, Mr. Kniesler was also named to the Allentown (New Jersey) High School Hall of Fame.
