ROCKLIN, CA, August 26, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Denise Dirks has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Backed by more than 31 years of professional experience, Ms. Dirks excels as the owner of the Law Offices of DENISE L. DIRKS. Since 1996, she has focused her practice mainly on family law matters, including divorce cases, legal separations, premarital agreements, stepparent adoptions, child custody cases, the termination of parental rights, international custody, and guardianships and conservatorships. Additionally, Ms. Dirks has co-hosted the "Radio Law Talk" nationwide radio show, on which she has discussed current events and the law for the past three and a half years.

Before establishing her firm, Ms. Dirks gained valuable expertise as an attorney for Dudugjian & Swoyer between 1989 and 1996. During the earliest years of her career, she served in numerous positions for the Model United Nations at Lane Community College and at the University of Oregon. Active as a paralegal for Smith, Robinson, Greening & Brecht, she further flourished as a law clerk for Dana, Dehart, Price, Chaffin & Stein and International Law Offices. She was a research assistant for Kathleen Kelly at McGeorge School of Law. Although her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Dirks is especially proud of becoming a mother of three and serving as one of the founding members of the family law section for the Placer County Bar Association, for which she has served as the co-chair of the child custody, the co-chair of the Temporary Judge Attorney Mediator and the Minor Counsel Subcommittees.

In pursuit of her aspirations, Ms. Dirks earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Oregon in 1985 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of the Pacific's McGeorge School of Law in 1989. She also represented the law student in the United States on the International Law and Practice Section of the American Bar Association on 1988-89. Over the years, she also received certifications in East/West Commerce Law, International Legal Studies and Comparative Advocacy through her legal alma mater. She also studied under Supreme Court Justice Kennedy in Salzburg and completed a mini pupilage with a Barrister from 2 Harcourt Chambers in London, England in 1988. Ms. Dirks remains aware of industry changes through her affiliation with the Sacramento County Bar Association, the Placer County Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Santa Clara County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Outside of her primary responsibilities, Ms. Dirks contributes to her community as a steering committee member for Concerned Citizens of South Placer County as well as through her pro-bono work. For her outstanding work in throughout her studies and professional field, she was highlighted in Who's Who Among American Students, Who's Who Among College Students, the Presidential and National Registry of Who's Who. Likewise, she was recognized as the first attorney to successfully defend an action brought based upon a now debunked False Memory Syndrome and where she served on the Legal Forum. She also had the honor of participating on Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's business advisory council and being invited by President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney to their Inauguration in 2005. She has been recognized as Top Ten Best Attorneys for 2015 and is highly rated in both legal ability and ethical standards by her peers every year since 2010. In the coming retirement years, Ms. Dirks aims to work in a full time capacity for RadioLawTalk.com.
