CHANTILLY, VA, August 28, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ronald Sodano has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Drawing upon years of knowledge in program and records management, technical writing and customer service, Mr. Sodano has flourished as a records management subject matter expert for Aegic Corps, Inc., with which he is currently contracted to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Office of the Comptroller (OUSD)). Prior to his current position, Mr. Sodano found success as a senior records analyst for COACT Inc. on a contract with the Department of the Navy Assistant for Administration, Directives and Records management Division (DON AA, DRMD) from 2016 to 2019. Mr. Sodano served in a brief stint as records manager for VT Group working with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) records from 2015 to 2016, but spent the previous ten years (2005 to 2015) as a senior records manager for Millican & Associates on a contract for the Department of Justice (DOJ). For those ten years, Mr. Sodano's previous records management experience proved to be an asset as he was tasked as a database administrator, working with an electronic records management system used by the DOJ to extract metadata from their documents so they can easily be located.
Mr. Sodano began his career in the records management field as an archives technician/specialist and later, as an archivist for the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) in Washington, DC starting in early 1989 through 2005. It is at the National Archives where Mr. Sodano gained valuable expertise in the archival process and in the field of records management. Although his archival career has been filled with many highlights and accomplishments, Mr. Sodano is especially proud of his work in records declassification; working in the Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act office; archiving and managing the records surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy; assisting the press, and the general public with their research; and reviewing and listening to the Nixon White House Tapes as a member of the Nixon Presidential Materials Staff.
Before embarking upon his professional path, Mr. Sodano earned a Bachelor of Arts in Historical Studies from Stockton University in 1987. Looking toward the future, Mr. Sodano looks forward to new challenges and to experience the continued success of his career as a subject matter expert for Aegis Corps, Inc.
