Her interest in a medical career began at the age of 12, as she was diagnosed with benign but significant throat tumors that required a series of surgeries to remove. Anxious and terrified as she was being wheeled into the surgical suite, she fondly recalls the pediatric nurses' ability to calm her down, and their compassion left a lasting impression on her. Inspired to help others in the way that the surgical nurses had helped her as a child, Ms. Campbell earned an Associate of Arts in nursing from Northwest Shoals Community College in 2005.
Since 2005, Ms. Campbell has excelled as a licensed registered nurse for Jackson Nurse Professionals and Trustaff Travel Nursing, primarily specializing in medical-surgical nursing with periodic rotations through emergency, intensive care and psychiatric settings. Her responsibilities include patient evaluations, pain management, and charting, as well as addressing emergency situations as they arise. Ms. Campbell considers nursing to be her passion and calling in life, and considers her greatest accomplishments as having had past patients reach out to thank her for her service.
