Outside of his work, Mr. Lillie has given back as a volunteer with Mobile Alabama during Hurricane Katrina in 2006. In a career filled with highlights, he notes that it is difficult to pick just one that stands out. However, in 2008, he worked for a private individual who had 19 colors on the exterior of his property. The project was unique and well-executed, and has garnered Mr. Lillie many compliments over the years. He attributes his success to his desire to persevere through obstacles and desiring to do better for his family.
Looking ahead, Mr. Lillie intends to delegate more responsibility to his team members so that he can take a step back from the responsibilities of being a business owner. In that regard, he intends to travel to his wife's native country of Brazil and spend more time with his family. The proud father of two children, he notes that his daughter is a veterinarian and his son is a chemical engineer who works for Facebook.
