As the managing partner, he represents financial institutions, and holding companies of these organizations, as well as entertainment, real estate and business clients, , and, as Managing Partner of the law firm, simultaneously maintains oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable and staffing and recruiting matters. Even though his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Tisdale is especially proud of establishing a successful law firm.
Prior to forming his own law firm, Mr. Tisdale worked in numerous national law firms, first as an associate and then as a partner, and represented clients in a variety of matters, including corporate law, securities law, international finance, entertainment, and business formation and advisory matters. Before working in private practice, he gained valuable expertise with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in the Office of General Counsel's Honors Program in Banking Law, in which he worked on a variety of bank matters of national importance; he also worked for nine months with the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, in the Office of General Counsel's Business Organizations and Structure Division.
In preparation for his professional journey, Mr. Tisdale earned a Bachelor of Arts in American history from the University of California Santa Barbara in 1974. Subsequently, he obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the California Western School of Law in 1977. While enrolled in law school, Mr. Tisdale served as the editor for the California Western International Law Journal and as a member of various boards, including the Advocacy Honors Board for Moot Court, the Client Counseling Board and the Professional Responsibility Committee.
Driven to remain aware of ongoing changes in the field, Mr. Tisdale aligns himself with the State Bar of California, the Florida Bar, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. During his spare time, he contributes to his community through various organizations whose mission is to help the homeless. For his professional excellence, he has been listed in Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in California Law and accepted a Premier Solution Provider Award from the Western Bankers Association in 2018.
