In pursuit of her aspirations, Dr. McCrary obtained a Bachelor of Arts in business and human resources management from the University of Phoenix. Subsequently, she earned a Master of Arts in clinical counseling from the University of Phoenix in 2016. Dr. McCrary concluded her studies with a Doctor of Psychology from Walden University in 2020.
Dr. McCrary remains aware of changes in the field through her affiliation with the American Counseling Association and the National Association for Leadership. In 1997, she founded Little Angels Christian Child Care Center, which is still in operation today. The center serves a diverse population of families and has made tremendous contributions to children in the community. During her spare time, she contributes to those in need as a volunteer with Returning Citizens. Looking toward the future, Dr. McCrary intends to be more involved in influencing public policy.
