Mr. Ocelo has been cutting hair since he was 15 years old. He began his career in his native country until he immigrated to the United States, where he worked in the restaurant industry for several years. Mr. Ocelo eventually began working in a barbershop again, where he excelled professionally.
Throughout his time cutting hair as an employee, Mr. Ocelo worked closely with the shop owner, Luigi. When Luigi wanted sell the shop, he offered to sell it to the younger man due to his skills in business, customer relations and hair styling. For the past two decades, Mr. Ocelo has served as the owner of Luigi's Barbershop in Palm Springs, California.
As a dedicated member of his community, Mr. Ocelo offers free haircuts for juveniles in detention centers. Since he became owner, the shop has been featured as a Best Barber Shop in Palm Springs Life Magazine. Looking toward the future, Mr. Ocelo aspires to perform more volunteer work on behalf of his community, as well as humanity in general.
