Angela Everett, MED, MTS, served as a participant and role model for uplifting team camaraderie during U.S. Navy Warrior Games Care Documentary titled "Road to the 2019 DoD Warrior Games".

    SAN DIEGO, CA, September 11, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Angela Everett, MED, MTS, has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Angela was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She attended Washington Irving High School in 1984. In 1986 she graduated from New York Beauty School earning her cosmetology license. In 1987 she opened one of the first natural hair care salons "Diva Hair Weaver" in Brooklyn. On November 27, 2000 she launched her second career in the United States Navy. QuarterMaster Chief Petty Officer and Military Veteran with 19 years and 5 months of education, and training experience in the United States Navy. She supervised 92 personnel in a dynamic war-fighting environment. She served as Expert Professional Maritime Instructor at The Center for Surface Combat Systems Unit and Warfare Officer School Command, Great Lakes, Illinois. She successfully completed eight deployments while stationed on the USS Oakhill, USS John F. Kennedy, Assault Craft Unit Four, USS Lake Erie, USS Russell, and Helicopter Maritime Squadron Four One. She coordinated domestic and global humanitarian missions during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Global War on Terrorism, and Haiti's Operation Unified Response. A few of her most rewarding tours were volunteering for Singapore's Willing Heart's Soup Kitchen distributing over 3,300 meals and Manama Bahrain's Oasis Social Ministries.

She possesses a comprehensive background in effective Maritime skillsets by training Quartermasters, Signalman, and Operation Specialists annually for ship and shore assignments. She is persistently motivated by students discovering the benefits and challenges of fostering student engagement while inspiring lifelong learning. She is the recipient of 38 awards for outstanding performance and professionalism. Her Naval Career is supported by a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning with Technology, a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management, honorary member of the Golden Key International Hounour Society, and a Master Training Specialists Certification by the Commander Naval Education and Training Command. The requirements include a demonstrated excellence in leadership, technical competence application of instructional methodology, and desire to improve fleet readiness through quality instruction.

She served as a participant and role model for uplifting team camaraderie during U.S. Navy Warrior Games Care Documentary titled "Road to the 2019 DoD Warrior Games". Her testimony impacted sailor's perspectives globally for breaking the stigma of mental health challenges. Her empathetic qualities served as key support to wounded, ill and injured sailors, families and caregivers. Her personal quote for someone going through a challenging time is "The most important person in the world is you. Everyone has a personal journey, and will learn something important in the process, so trust the process and keep pressing forward to victory."

Angela Is supported by her husband Mr. Ronnie T. Everett Sr. stationed in Naval Air Station San Diego, California as a Senior Air Traffic Controller Specialist, and is the mother of 17-year-old Ronnie T. Everett Jr., 12th grade, attending King Chavez Community High School.
