Born and raised in Bayamon, Puerto Rico she attended Interamerican University in Puerto Rico and began her career as a human resources manager for Dade Paper & Bag Co. She subsequently served as a human resources supervisor for MedaFax, Inc. and as a regional human resources manager for Kanter Media Research. These days, she works in the property resoration industry. She began her journey in 2013, after moving to North Carolina. She started her career in the industry as a Supervisor for the Content's department and clibmed the ladder all the way to a sales and business development executive.
Ms. Lopes now serves as the chief marketing officer of APR Restoration. In her current position, she leads and provides oversight for sales and marketing for the company and its three operating offices. Ms. Lopes is also responsible for strategizing and developing new market channels to drive revenue and achieve goals. In 2019, the company notably reached their goal of ten million dollars.
Throughout the course of her career, Ms. Lopes has attributed her professional success to listening and learning from the people around her. She considers her standout achievement to be her ability to adapt and understand her audience and identify needs and areas of opportunities for growth. She has been able to lead the organization and achieve goals that have made a measurable impact on the industry. In addition, Ms. Lopes has been proud to inspire other women who want to venture into the field and receive recognition from their colleagues.
In the coming years, Ms. Lopes would like to open more offices in North Carolina and become the #1 leader in the industry. She would also like to deliver speeches to more women's groups, as well as young adults on how to reach their goals. Ms. Lopes maintains her professional affiliation with Women in Networking (WIN), several chambers and is the vice-chair of the Clayton Economic Development Association.
