Following his own battles with addiction and mental health and overcoming homelessness, Mr. England was inspired to become a counselor after achieving sobriety. Building on the expertise he gained as a therapist with Solutions to Recovery, as well as a prior Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from Central Michigan University from 1991, he pursued a Master of Arts in counseling at Central Michigan University, which he obtained in 2012. While pursuing his graduate degree, he joined Bio-Med Behavioral Healthcare as a primary therapist in 2011.
A seasoned clinical supervisor with a proven track record of excellence in the health and wellness industry, Mr. England rose up within the organization, serving as a clinical coordinator from 2013 until 2015 and as a clinical supervisor between 2015 and 2018. Ever since, he has excelled as a site supervisor for the organization, managing therapists and auxiliary staff while also approving treatment plans.
In addition to his bachelor's degree and master's degree, Mr. England is a certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor, a certified clinical supervisor and a certified disorders professional. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of getting sober and turning his life around. Utilizing the "No Worker Left Behind" program, which provided $10,000 grants to people wanting to pursue higher education, Mr. England returned to college at the age of 50. Within five years, he intends to experience continued success and provide additional mental health services for those in need.
