Ms. Jones has 37 years of experience in healthcare and three years of experience as a senior consultant at Johns Hopkins International. During this time she has developed an expertise in consulting, improving the quality of clinical care, and fostering practitioner competence through the assessment of medical staff credentialing and facilitating continuing nursing education. Ms. Jones' daily responsibilities include assessing the clinical programs of international hospitals, ensuring the criteria set forth by Johns Hopkins are met, and offering education to reach joint commission standards. Johns Hopkins International is a health system that provides programs and processes to improve the quality of clinical care and foster continuing medical education.

Prior to taking on her current role, Ms. Jones worked as a charge nurse on a maternity unit in labor and delivery and in a perinatal unit at a university hospital. As an instructor-in-charge at a diploma nursing school, she taught maternal and child health. Ms. Jones has worked with the Maryland Peer Review Organization as an assistant director and coordinator regulatory hospital affairs for Johns Hopkins Hospital.

A registered nurse, Ms. Jones received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland and a Master's Degree in Adult Education from Johns Hopkins University. She attributes her success to her perseverance, knowledge and ability to think of new ideas to help further the healthcare profession.
