Attorney Gladys Daniels was Of-Counsel for Saturn Oil and Gas Company from 2004-2009. She was also a transactional attorney for El Paso Energy, Texas from 1999-2000, where she gained experience in energy, oil and gas litigation matters. While pursuing a law degree, Ms. Daniels had the opportunity to work as an intern prosecutor for the District Attorney's Office in Fort Bend County, Texas.
Expanding her practice over the years, Ms. Daniels now provides oversight for six offices throughout Texas. Gaining significant credibility for her work ethic and commitment to her clients, much of her business stems from referrals. Ms. Daniels had long aspired to become an attorney, and knew while coming of age, she enjoyed watching courtroom dramas and always dreamed of being a female lawyer with a voice for those who cannot defend themselves. However, growing up in a society where justice was not blindfolded and often tilted against the wealthy, that she would have to depart from her home country of Nigeria to successfully pursue her ambition.
Attending the University of Benin in Nigeria, Ms. Daniels attained a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy. Upon immigrating to the U.S. in 1995, she received a Doctor of Jurisprudence, summa cum laude, at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in 1999, followed by a Master of Laws, LLM Degree in Energy Law, with honors, from the University of Houston Law Center, Houston, Texas. Ms. Daniels has been admitted to practice law by the Texas Bar Association, the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
Among her professional memberships, Ms. Daniels is active with the International Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association and the American Immigration Law Association. In recognition of her achievements in the legal community, she has been named to Family Lawyers for 2006 and 2007 and is an AV-Rated Attorney through Martindale-Hubbell. A celebrated Marquis listee, Ms. Daniels has been cited in the 66th and 70th editions of Who's Who in America and the 18th and 19th editions of Who's Who in American Law.
