Ms. Foley is a retired flight attendant, medical assistant and independent sales consultant for Morinda Bioactives. A graduate of the Rochester Business Institute of Technology, she graduated in 1956 with an Associate of Arts in medical assisting and medical secretarial arts, and began working with one of the best surgeons in the Rochester area. While she loved medicine, Ms. Foley aspired to transition to a new industry, and began applying for jobs with airlines after being denied a pay raise.
Ms. Foley soon began to undertake flight attendant training with United Airlines, where she would remain for the duration of her aviation career. She quickly developed a reputation for professionalism and outstanding customer service, and was presented with an award for her astute risk assessment skills in a passenger emergency claim. During a flight, a passenger claimed to have broken his leg due to a faulty step, and threatened to sue the airline. Drawing on her medical knowledge, Ms. Foley questioned the passenger, whose injury was self-inflicted, and reported the incident to the pilot, and her testimony that would later save the airline more than a million dollars in court fees.
Since 2006, Ms. Foley has been an independent distributor of Morinda Bioactives wellness products. She is passionate about their role in promoting a healthy lifestyle, and enthusiastic about sharing her own health and business journeys with others. Likewise, Ms. Foley is dedicated to helping young women recognize and seize their potential, and is a former Miss America Outstanding Teen pageant mentor.
Well regarded for her 15 years of service, Ms. Foley was presented with a 2019 Footprint Award and a Queen Award. In addition to her work with Miss America, she is an active volunteer with the Northern Deanery, the Women's Guild, and the Ministry for the Sick, Shawl Ministry and Consolation Ministry. In her retirement, Ms. Foley enjoys traveling, shopping and gourmet cooking, and is an avid fan of several major sports.
