With an Associate of Arts from the Western Culinary Institute, Wut began his career in the hospitality industry. Over the course of 15 years, he advanced from the role of a dishwasher to a chef. Following this accomplishment, he decided to venture out on his own in search of a sustainable hospitality business, accepting a role at a local hospital, where he was able to gain experience in that industry, as well as valuable customer service skills.
Wut eventually commenced his professional journey as a restauranteur alongside his wife and a friend of theirs. With his expertise in hospitality, he welcomed the new challenge, and established Bay View Thai Kitchen in 2018. Since its establishment, he has managed to build the restaurant into a community staple. Wut is most grateful for the relationships he has built throughout the area. In an effort to provide for the community, they fed members of the Coast Guard after hours and were recently recognized for their services to the local area.
Throughout the course of his career, Wut has attributed his professional success to helping others and sharing valuable knowledge with those in need. He maintains his professional affiliation with the local chamber of commerce. Looking toward the future, Wut aspires for his business to be known as the best Thai restaurant on the coast. He would also like to move into a more senior role and become a mentor to others in the industry.
