Encouraged by his family's attorney, Mr. Brueckner pursued a career in law, culminating in his current position as an associate attorney with Copeland & Brown P.C., with which he represents his clients in general practice. Before joining the firm, he worked as an academic fellow at Oklahoma City University School of Law and an intern for Oklahoma County District Court's Judge Barbara Swinton. Earlier, he gained valuable expertise as a paralegal with Parmele Law Firm. In addition to his experience in law, Mr. Brueckner served as a pharmacy technician with Walmart Supercenter and a high school social studies teacher for the Joplin R-VIII School District.
An expert in his field, Mr. Brueckner earned a Bachelor of Science in secondary education social studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2009. Subsequently, he obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Oklahoma City in 2017. Likewise, he has been admitted to practice law through the Missouri Bar. Dedicated to civic engagement, Mr. Brueckner is affiliated with the Future Business Leaders of America, the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce, Rotary International, and the Jasper County Bar Association, with which he has taken on the duties as the president.
Outside of his primary responsibilities, Mr. Brueckner dedicates himself to his community as a board member with Downtown Joplin Alliance and a commissioner of the Joplin Historic Preservation Commission. Earlier, he contributed to those in need through Joplin Community Clinic, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Columbia, Tri-Fraternity Community Service, and Adopt-a-Spot. Although his career has been filled with achievements, he is incredibly proud of his daughter. She continues to amaze him every day.
