Motivated by the racial inequality ingrained within the United States judicature, Mr. Esther initially garnered inspiration for his future as a criminal defense attorney during his undergraduate edification. After numerous conversations with wrongfully convicted inmates, he resolved to combat the misrepresentation of Black Americans before the court system. Equipped with a drive to assist his friends, family and community, Mr. Esther began in his pursuits of a legal degree at the university level.
Mr. Esther initially enrolled at Texas Southern University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government in 2015. During his time at the aforementioned institution, he received commendation as an honoree of the President's List in 2013 for his academic excellence. By 2018, he had obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Along with his lawful qualifications, he also acquired a certification in professional research from LexisNexis. Following the conclusion of his scholastic ventures, Mr. Esther was permitted to practice law before the State Bar of Texas and the U.S. District & Bankruptcy Courts of the Southern District of Texas.
Currently, Mr. Esther excels as the founder and chief attorney of the Law Office of Marcus Esther PLLC. Specializing in courtroom proceedings concerning criminal law, personal injury and federal law, he handles each case with the utmost compassion. Attributing his success to perseverance and constant communication, Mr. Esther offers his undivided attention to each client and vigorously advocates for them until their lawsuits have been successfully settled
Throughout his tenure, Mr. Esther has been honored on numerous occasions. In 2018, the Order of the Barristers inducted him as a member of their organization. In 2020, Mr. Esther was distinguished as one of Super Lawyers' Rising Stars.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Mr. Esther has exhibited philanthropic propensities through the Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals. Serving as Co-Chair for the Civic Engagement Committee, Mr. Esther promotes advocacy throughout his community. Mr. Esther hopes to expand the influence of his firm and consult fellow attorneys as potential partners in the near future.
