A seasoned, international financier and philanthropist, Mr. Willis entered the field of finance after reading about a gentleman by the name of Leonard H. Vander Bie, who was the owner of National Financial Company. Though it cost several thousands of dollars to open a franchise, of which he did not have at the time, he did boast more than 600 private venture capital resources and utilized those to advance into the field of business. After working for Mr. Vander Bie for two years, Mr. Willis delved into film financing, serving as the president and chief executive officer of BNW Financial Services Inc. between 1990 and 1996.
Subsequently, Mr. Willis' venture expanded into Starider Entertainment, which funded major motion pictures. Backed by his extensive expertise, he purchased an Irish company by the name of Brockstar Limited in 1996, which has since established several affiliates companies under its umbrella, including Brockstar Financial Services Inc., Billionaires Elite VIP and Brockstar Holding International Pte. Ltd. Brockstar underwrites and provides funding for a plethora of large, commercial projects, as well as privately-funded investments, including private portfolio management. Notably, Brockstar Limited has worked with the IFC and MIGA of the World Bank Group, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, United States governmental agencies, major world banks and investment firms.
Additionally, Mr. Willis is licensed to sell insurance in California and Arizona and recently became appointed as the Minister of Culture for Templar Nation in Monaco in 2019. Outside of his primary responsibilities, he maintains his affiliation with the Knights of Templar and the Knights of Malta. He also dedicates himself to charitable endeavors, participating in various types of fundraising initiatives for nonprofit organizations, including those committed to helping children and the elderly. For the last 40 years, Mr. Willis has contributed to those in need through such organizations as Save the Children, PETA, the Christian Children's Fund, Foundation for Our Children's Children, Feed the Children and the Red Cross.
An expert in his field, Mr. Willis obtained a degree in business management from Orange Coast Community College in the mid-1970s. Over the years, he furthered his education with eight years of private training through the Rothschild Financial Group. Mr. Willis earned an honorary PhD from the International Royal Academy of the United Nations.
In recognition of his outstanding body of work, Mr. Willis has accepted a number of awards through the Republican Presidential Honor Roll under President Donald J. Trump, including a Congressional Medal of Distinction and a Congressional Order of Merit.
Moreover, he was included in the Top 100 Registry of Business Leaders and was honored as the Republican of the Year in 2006. Although his career has been filled with highlights, he is especially proud of helping reconstruct the economy in Russia during the 1990s. During the latter half of the decade, he conducted the world's largest Euro bond transaction, which created a financial theory of a market within a market whose details have since been taught in Ivy League schools around the world.
