Dr. Stalcup initially enrolled at Maryville College and completed pre-medical coursework in biochemistry. Following her departure from the aforementioned institution, she graduated from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University with a Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Stalcup also obtained her certification in general medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine.
Regarding her professional expertise, Dr. Stalcup began her career with an internship and a residency at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine. Subsequently, she served as the chief resident and co-chairperson of the recruitment committee at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Since 2005, Dr. Stalcup has excelled as a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians as well as a physician of family medicine and the medical director for home health services at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
As a testament to her accomplishments, Dr. Stalcup has been honored with the Joseph B. Moon Family Medicine Residency Award and a Top Doctor Award. Furthermore, she is an active member of the American Academy of Family Practitioners. Concerning her philanthropic efforts, She volunteers her time with local church drives and events. Dr. Stalcup is currently working towards earning a Master of Business Administration in healthcare administration and hopes to ascend to more administrative positions in the near future.
