    SAINT LOUIS, MO, November 09, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Thomas Edward Lowther with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Lowther celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. Mr. Lowther has enjoyed a long and successful career in law that has spanned nearly 60 years. Having served of counsel at Armstrong Teasdale LLP since 2013, he focuses his practice on public and corporate finance. He also handles business development and transactions, as well as the oversight of personal and corporate aircraft with respect to purchases, sales and financing. Additionally, Mr. Lowther represents the Missouri Clean Energy District (MCED). The MCED is a statewide political subdivision of the State of Missouri that was established to provide funding for energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements throughout the state.

Prior to his current commitments, Mr. Lowther accumulated five decades of expertise in private practice at the Stolar Partnership LLP. Hired as an associate in 1962, he advanced to the position of a partner just five years later. Grateful for the opportunity, Mr. Lowther noted that when the organization decided to close its doors, he was contacted by over a dozen other firms before making the decision to join Armstrong Teasdale LLP.

As a commitment to his community, Mr. Lowther has served in various roles, including as a trustee for the Whitaker Foundation from 2013 to 2018, a board director and treasurer of the Shakespeare Festival of Saint Louis between 2013 and 2017, and as the president of the Good Shephard Home and Family Services from 2007 until 2013. Additionally, he excelled as a trustee, board director and the president of Saint Joseph's Home for Boys from 1997 to 2001. With respect to education, he found success as the chairperson of the board at Christian Brothers College High School between 2017 and 2020 and as a director since 2015. He was also the president of the Marion Hall for Girls from 1997 until 2002 and the secretary in 2002. Furthermore, Mr. Lowther has been active at his alma mater, Washington University, as a member of the School of Law national council since 1994, where he also served as the national vice chairperson of the campaign cabinet in 2001.

Mr. Lowther received a Doctor of Jurisprudence at Washington University's School of Law in 1962. Eminently qualified in his field, he was admitted to practice law by the Missouri Bar Association. To remain aware of developments in the field, Mr. Lowther has been aligned as a member of the Missouri Bar and the Bar Association of Metropolitan Saint Louis. Later, in 1999, he received a Master's Degree in Liberal Arts at Washington University.

In 1997 and 2002, Mr. Lowther received Distinguished Alumnus Awards, first from Washington University's School of Law and then from the University itself. He was also featured for his experiences doing volunteer archaeological field work for several weeks each summer over a period that eventually reached fifteen years in an issue of the Washington Journal Alumni Magazine and has been named to several leading law publications, including Best Lawyers in America for Banking and Finance Law, Corporate Law and Public Finance Law every year over the past 20 years. A celebrated Marquis listee, Mr. Lowther has been cited in several editions of Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law.
