TALLAHASSEE, FL, November 17, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carl Creasman has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

After accruing decades of practiced industry experience in engineering and education, Mr. Creasman retired from his role as the SkillsUSA Tennessee Postsecondary State Director for the Tennessee Board of Regents, where he served from 2004 until 2012. During this time, he coordinated the association's activities for all 27 Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology (TCAT). Previously, Mr. Creasman worked for 28 years as an Electrical/Electronics instructor for the McMinn County Board of Education, teaching electronics, residential and industrial wiring, computer repair, programming, and serving as the school's lead advisor for the school's chapter in SkillsUSA. This followed (10) years as a senior engineer in the Areo-Space industry with Martin Marietta Corporation and six years in the public sector with Westinghouse Electric Corporation working as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Small Motor Division and a Senior Design Engineer in the Nuclear Division working on the Clinch River Nuclear Breeder Reactor project.

During his professional journey, Mr. Creasman gained valuable expertise in the field as a manufacturing engineer for Westinghouse Electric. In this capacity, he maintained design responsibilities for electric machine controls in hermetic motor plants. Some of his first roles in the field were those of a senior engineer and a quality assurance engineer for Martin Marietta Corp., as well as a graduate assistant for the University of Tennessee during the 1960s. Although his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Creasman is especially proud of having had a positive impact on his student, many of which were elected as State and/or National Officers of SkillsUSA as well as many achieving Championship status in the state and national Skills competitions.

An expert in his field, Mr. Creasman holds a Bachelor of Science (BSEE) in electrical engineering from Auburn University, a Master of Science (MSEE) through the University of Tennessee and an Educational Specialist (EDS) degree in Vocational Education. He retains his professional alignment with SkillsUSA, (previously known as Vocational Industrial Clubs of America (VICA), where he served as state director. Looking forward into the future, Mr. Creasman intends to enjoy his retirement and spend more time with his children, Christina(Tina) Creasman Mason and Carl Jr, his eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
