Mr. Dev celebrates a career spanning more than 25 years of innovation in developing global cybersecurity and access management technologies for numerous public and private sector clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering from Mangalore University, and earned a Master of Arts in information technology from Bond University in 1997. He began his career in 1998 with AT&T, then operating as Southwestern Bell, as a senior security architect for telecommunications link infrastructure.
The following year, Mr. Dev departed AT&T to join VeriSign as a lead engineer for their industry-defining digital certificate management platform. After two years, he was recruited by Deloitte & Touche as an enterprise risk services manager, and later, security lead for identity and access management – a key role in the establishment of their Identity practice. From 2005 to 2009, Mr. Dev was the head of security services for Satyam, and concurrently served as the principal and chief architect of Global Security Services from 2006 to 2008. Prior to accepting his current roles, Mr. Dev was the head of strategic initiatives for enterprise security solutions at Wipro Technologies and the founding venture leader for enterprise risk and security solutions at Cognizant.
In 2016, Mr. Dev founded Intellicta, a unique, next-generation cyber risk and detection platform that has been recognized as a leader in IT Risk Management by Gartner and CSO Magazine. He also designed defense in depth solutions being adopted for use by biopharmaceutical companies and government bureaus. In 2017, Mr. Dev founded the Alliance for Cyber Risk Governance, a nonprofit cybersecurity industry organization dedicated to educating business professionals on information risk management and developing customized solutions.
Mr. Dev has been invited to present at several international technology and agency summits, such as the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency. In addition to his consulting and development work, Mr. Dev has been the managing director of EY since 2018. In his personal time, Mr. Dev is passionately involved in community development and philanthropic efforts, and records and produces electronic music, building off of a foundation of retro house and ambient techno aesthetic. In the coming years, he plans to continue his work in cybersecurity and looks forward to devoting more time to his musical career, and is currently writing a follow-up to his most recent EP, "Swazz."
