Ms. Coupe's inspiration and venture into her professional real estate career began when she agreed to accompany her brother, who worked in automobile customer relations, pursue a career in Real Estate. Wishing to expand upon his skill set, he resolved to complete the real estate licensing examination and suggested she join him in attending its preparatory courses. While completing this coursework, Ms. Coupe found herself intrigued by the laws pertaining to property ownership and believed all property owners should have the knowledge and possess the information she had been studying. Aspiring to cultivate and pursue further a career in Real Estate which would include educating future property owners, she decided to cultivate a career as a real estate broker.
Throughout the thirty-four years of her extensive real estate career, Ms. Coupe has accumulated several credentials and qualifications. Initially enrolling at Bryant College, she conducted coursework and obtained a degree in human resources, and functioned in human resources prior to her venturing into real estate. She found this degree beneficial in her new profession and studied real estate further at Rhode Island College, and likewise, she attained her Graduate of Realtor Institute designation from the National Association of Realtors, Additional designations acquired by Ms. Coupe include a Certified Residential Specialist, a Certified Negotiation Expert, an Accredited Buyer's Representative and a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Over the course of her career she and her partner owned and operated Re/Max Metro where she functioned as the Principle Broker mentoring for as many as 35 agents.
Presently, Ms. Coupe excels as a broker-associate at ReMax Metro. In this capacity, she specializes in helping her valuable clients and customers, sellers preparing their property for sale by optimizing the features that are unique to their property; and helping buyers in locating real estate to suit their needs and desires. In both instances she is there through the entire home selling/buying venture and the intricacies involved in same. Throughout her tenure, Ms. Coupe has built a lauded reputation for her honesty, integrity, mentoring capabilities, professionalism, knowledge of the housing market, and consequent lasting relationships with her clientele. As a testament to her efforts, she has a wall full of plaques attesting to her accomplishments in her real estate career. Her most prestigious awards are her Re/Max Hall of Fame award and her Re/Max Lifetime Achievement Award. She was recognized as Top Re/Max Agent in New England for five consecutive years.
In addition to the aforementioned accolades, Ms. Coupe has been recognized numerous times as the Top Real Estate Agent in Rhode Island and Top 100 Re/Max Agents in the County out of 102,000 agents! Furthermore, she maintains her membership with the National Association of Realtors and the Providence Board of Realtors.
In addition to the real estate industry awards Ms. Coupe is most proud of the tribute paid to her by the late Senator John Chaffee in the proceedings of the 103rd Congress, First Session on Friday, July 23rd, 1993. Mr. Chaffee cited many of Ms. Coupe's accomplishments and industry awards concluding with the following statement "As we in Congress explore ways to revitalize America's economy, I think it is incumbent upon us to recognize individuals whose entrepreneurial spirit and hard work are the foundation of America's prosperity. Outside of her office, Ms. Coupe is a benefactor of many charities including Saint Mary's Orphanage, Saint Jude's Children's Hospital, Feeding America and Feed the Children.
