Passionate about her field, Ms. Robinson has been a registered nurse for over six years. She has recently found success as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit of Providence Health since 2019. She previously served as a nurse on the trauma unit of Richmond Memorial. Ms. Robinson was inspired to enter her profession after witnessing the care her late brother received during his numerous hospitalizations, where he was treated for scoliosis and a tumor wrapped around his spine. This ultimately led to him becoming a paraplegic with numerous health concerns as well as suffering from depression. This sparked her passion for mental health.
To further for her career, Ms. Robinson is pursuing an education at Walden University in Minneapolis, where she will obtain a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2022. Active in her field, she maintains her affiliation with such organizations as the American Nurses Association as well as the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. Moreover, Ms. Robinson was inducted into the International Golden Key Honor Society, the National Society of Leadership and Success and the Phi Nu chapter of Sigma Theta Tau's International Honor Society of Nursing due to her academic achievements.
Notably, Ms. Robinson will graduate from Walden University as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She considers her most notable accomplishment thus far to be her ability to empathize and connect with her patients. Looking toward the future, Ms. Robinson would like to work for a Veterans Affairs hospital helping veterans who suffer from mental disorders and perhaps establish her own practice one day.
