Dr. Benzohra also became certified as a teacher through the Louisiana Department of Education in Baton Rouge.
Dr. Benzohra began her career as a physics teacher at the Academy of Blida in Algeria before accepting a position as a French teacher at the French Cultural Center in Latakia, Syria. She also taught Arabic and science at the French School in Sanaa, Yemen and served as French teacher for the School Board of Saint Landry in Opelousas and Lafayette, Louisiana. Dr. Benzohra currently excels as a French and language teacher in Florida.
As an accomplished professional, Dr. Benzohra's work has been presented in several industry conferences at Georgia Southern University. She has also been a member of the National Scholars Honor Society since 2017. Throughout her career, she has been most proud of her ability to achieve all of her goals as a single mother in a foreign country. She hopes to utilize her career path as an example of how people can achieve much success through hard work and dedication. Dr. Benzohra additionally maintains her professional affiliation with the Modern Languages Association and the American Association of Teachers of French.
