She initially earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi on an Indian government scholarship, and pursued extensive continuing education credentials in various areas of medicine. Dr. Premmanisakul later obtained a diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene from Mahidol University, Bangkok, from which she would return to graduate with a Master of Science in medical epidemiology in 1999.
Dr. Premmanisakul concluded her studies at the University of Otago, New Zealand, accruing a postgraduate certificate in occupational medicine. For more than a decade, she taught epidemiology at Mahidol University as the deputy head of the department of tropical hygiene from 1996 to 2001. Throughout her career, Dr. Premmanisakul's philosophy of practice gradually shifted from a focus on identifying and treating pathologies to a patient-centered approach that included preventive care, spiritual and emotional wellness.
Since 2015, Dr. Premmanisakul has excelled as the primary physician and director of the Meditrina Wellness Center, with which she offers a range of complementary and holistic healthcare services addressing the complex hormonal, skincare, overall wellness needs of female patients. She has been attracting accolades and honors since her early academic career, garnering Seameo-Tropmed scholarships for her tropical medicine and epidemiology degrees, and has been designated as a Commander Third Class of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand. In 2002, Dr. Premmanisakul was presented with the insignia of King Rama IX of Thailand for her exemplary contributions to medicine and medical education.
