Trailblazer Darrell G. Musick Celebrated for Dedication to the Fields of Business Consulting and Real Estate

    OCEANSIDE, CA, December 08, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Darrell G. Musick has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. At the age of 17, Mr. Musick was hired by noted business leader Sol Price as an assistant with the Fed Mart Corporation and Price Club, whereupon he learned much about investments and emerging concepts in the business world. Under Mr. Price's tutelage, he garnered valuable expertise on disruptive technologies and the big box store concept between 1954 and 1970, and was later promoted to become the operational manager for more than ten discount stores across seven states, for which he was responsible for more than 2,000 employees. Following these appointments, Mr. Musick served as the Western regional manager for the Hartz Mountain Corporation, an independently owned pet supply distributor that provided him with the opportunity to refine his skills in the sales and distribution process between 1970 and 1974.

Shortly thereafter, Mr. Musick worked as the general manager and the director of operations for the Crocker Capital Corporation, a distribution business that serviced 1,800 stores throughout 11 states, in Los Angeles from 1974 to 1978. During this time, he assisted the company to acquire and integrate the purchases of several competitors to become the largest company of its kind in the convenience store industry. Having been advised to invest his money as opposed to spending it, Mr. Musick decided to independently integrate the same approach to business holdings through Musick Enterprises Inc. in San Diego from 1975 to 1983.

Motivated by a strong desire to utilize free enterprise economic systems to establish new enterprises that benefit society, Mr. Musick purchased, redeveloped and sold businesses and distressed assets of all kinds, including residential and commercial real estate. He eventually relocated the business to Oceanside, California, focusing his efforts on buying and integrating recreational vehicle businesses and franchises into a single location as a part of Musick Enterprises' Hyko division between 1983 and 1993. Subsequently, Mr. Musick made an incredible impact on the business landscape by co-founding with others the "debt buyers industry" as the founder and the president of Security Asset Inc.

Between 1993 and 2003, Mr. Musick found much success with the aforementioned company, purchasing delinquent assets from banks as well as financial institutions and insurance companies. He eventually took the company public on the stock market, running it on the NASDAQ over the course of his decade-spanning tenure in his leadership.

As a result, Mr. Musick became renowned for his hard work ethic, and was referred to by his colleagues and employees as "reverend" and "professor." Likewise, he obtained a number of important political connections throughout the United States government, including the current Republican Presidential Administration.

Since 2003, Mr. Musick has directed his primary attention to the real estate industry as a realtor with Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC. He has accrued multiple certifications in his present position, including as a CNSA/CMSA, a contract negotiator, a probate and trust sales agent, a new agent group trainer, a construction consulting company named an REO/short sale specialist and a Feng Shui agent. Moreover, also working concurrently, Mr. Musick is the president and the founder of the Sigma Seven Group. He has built an esteemed reputation as a fixer and consultant for myriad industries and they work with several Fortune 500 companies with complex business issues. He continues building that company.

Mr. Musick has been additionally active with numerous organizations in relation to his areas of expertise, such as the National Debt Buyers Association as a founding member, the Sigma Chi International Fraternity as a board member for their alumni chapters, United Way and United Fund charities as a loan executive, the San Diego Management Institute as a co-founder and various Chambers of Commerce and U.S. Junior Chambers as a member. The former president of the Honda Motorcycle Dealers Association, he further flourished as a former lecturer and teacher for the Graduate School of Business at the University of California Los Angeles. Notably, Mr. Musick earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration with concentrations in finance and personnel management at San Diego State University, San Diego, in 1958.

Proud of having applied his faith-based view effectively in his personal and professional interactions throughout his life, Mr. Musick has been lauded for his impressive accomplishments in the field. In 1965, he was recognized among the Leading Men in America by the Library of Congress. He was later honored by San Diego Magazine as a Five Star Agent between 2010 and 2015 and among the Real Estate Agents Who Scored Highest in Overall Satisfaction in 2011. Looking toward the near future, Mr. Musick intends to continue cementing his legacy as an esteemed and hard-working figure who helped break much ground in the business landscape, as well as public speaking, which he enjoys.
