From a young age, Mrs. Alexander has wanted to help others. Desiring to help her sick family members throughout her youth, she was inspired to pursue a career in nursing. She subsequently earned a liberal arts and science degree from Mountainview College and a Bachelor of Arts from Northwood University. Ms. Alexander also became certified as a community healthcare worker.
Mrs. Alexander began her career at Parkland Memorial Hospital before flourishing as a community health worker at Baylor, Scott & White. In her career, she has been proud to serve as a caregiver in one form or another. Moreover, she has been grateful to care for older folks as their health declined. Ms. Alexander currently excels as the front office coordinator for Texas Oncology.
In her present position, Mrs. Alexander utilizes her exceptional attention to detail to collaborate with team members, ensuring that the month-end close checklist is completed for all assigned items while meeting the Texas Oncology's strict schedule. An important part of her role is to liaise between the front office, medical staff and billing offices in order to maximize intra-department organization. With her wealth of professional experience, Ms. Alexander has been able to successfully manage the insurance verification process and provide top-notch patient financial counseling.
Most importantly, Mrs. Alexander provides superior leadership by supervising all activities of the front office staff. Most recently, she was recognized as the Employee of the Month for her exemplary efforts. In the coming years, Ms. Alexander plans to organize a holistic program as well as a marriage counseling class.
